East West Line (EWL)

The East West Line (EWL) is Singapore's second MRT line, connecting the eastern and western ends of the island via Central Singapore. It is operated by SMRT Trains and is the longest MRT line, spanning 56.6 km with 35 stations, from Pasir Ris (EW1) to Tuas Link (EW33). There is also a separate branch line, the Changi Airport Branch Line, which links Tanah Merah to Changi Airport via Expo. The majority of the line is elevated, but it goes underground in the Central Area and near the Airport. Trains also go underground between Bedok and Kembangan for a short stretch below New Upper Changi Road.

North East Line (NEL)

The North East Line (NEL) is a driverless and high-capacity MRT line in Singapore. It is underground and runs from Central Singapore to the North East regions. The line is 19.2km long and has 16 stations, starting from HarbourFront (NE1) and ending at Punggol (NE17). It was the first fully automated underground heavy rail line in the world when it opened and uses a radio-based CBTC signalling system. The rolling stock operates in six-car formations and is based at the Sengkang Depot. By 2024, the North-East Line extension (NELe) will add an additional station (NE18 Punggol Coast) in the Punggol Downtown area. This extension was brought forward by 6 years from the original 2030 plan.

Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL)

The Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL) is a fully underground and driverless MRT line that connects the Northern and Eastern regions via the Central region and the new downtown. The line spans approximately 43 km and has 32 stations, running from Woodlands North (TE1) to Sungei Bedok (TE31) via Thomson, Stevens, Orchard, Marina Bay, Tanjong Rhu, Marine Parade, and Upper East Coast. The northern terminus is connected to the Singapore–Johor Bahru RTS Link.
