Circle Line (CCL)
The Circle Line (CCL) is a driverless underground MRT line in Singapore. It is the fourth rail line and runs in a circle, connecting residential areas and all radial routes leading to the city. The line is 35.5 km long and has 30 stations, starting from Dhoby Ghaut (CC1) and ending at HarbourFront (CC29) through Serangoon. There is also a branch line called the Circle Line Extension that connects Promenade (CC4) to Marina Bay (CE2) via Bayfront (CE1).
Train stations are a critical indicator of accessibility in Singapore's property market. The closer a location is to a major train line (e.g. East-West line), the higher accessibility it attains. Because convenience and connectivity is highly valued in Singapore, train station have a strong positive correlation to property prices. However, it is important to note that while accessibility is a big price determinant, there are a myriad of other factors that affect property prices, including density, schools, safety, neighborhood maturity, etc.
