Circle Line Green (CG)

The CG designation refers to the Changi Airport Branch of Singapore's East-West Line, a specialized two-station shuttle service connecting Tanah Merah station (EW4/CG) to Changi Airport station (CG2) via Expo station (CG1/DT35). Originally opened on 8 February 2002, this 6.4-kilometer branch line provides direct rail connectivity to Singapore's primary international airport, with trains operating as a shuttle service every 7-13 minutes. The line serves key destinations including Singapore Expo convention center, Changi Business Park, and Changi Airport Terminals 2 and 3, with Expo station also functioning as an interchange with the Downtown Line since 2017. As part of future expansion plans, this branch will be integrated into the Thomson-East Coast Line extension by 2040, connecting to the new Terminal 5.
